    RockNES by Fx3
Windows port by Alexandre da Veiga
    Mac port by Richard Bannister

RockNES is a real "oldie", Fx3 started it back in '98 as a complete rewrite of xNES made by ??. Fx3 created an stable emulator with great compatibility, good sound and a lot of extra features ! The Windows port needs at least DirectX 7 to run and has more extras than the DOS version :) Better gui, better joystick support, scanlines and a stretched video mode to name a few. The Mac version of RockNES also supports Net Play, 2x/3x/4x/5x video modes, Mapper Editing ... and much more neat stuff :-) I like RockNES although both versions lacks support for my beloved Sidewinder (but the readme claims it's supported) !

    --- Mappers ---
