    -MEGARAM and MEMORY MAPPER emulation
-Configuration of MSX memory with scripts (MSX.CFG)
-Overall setting of the emulator with PMSX.INI
    -Nice DEBUGGER (Hit F6)

PowerMSX is an MSX emulator for DOS, thanks to the MEP crew for the news. - atila, tiny edit by - dutch

  • ArmageTRON released! This is a 3D version of the 'bike game' featured in TRON, that wonderful movie from way back when ;) It uses OpenGL and even has netplay, so what are you waiting for ?! Thanks to DemoNews for the news. - atila

  • SlashDot is reporting about a PSX Documentation Project, a 153 page document describing the innards of the PSX, all 100% free and GPLed. It took the author a year of hacking, but he has completed the task. The document is available in StarOffice/RTF/TXT/DOC and HTML format. Thanks to Sonikku_a and Atma for the news. - atila

  • N64 INI news: Here are some INI files that have been released in the last couple of days for various Nintendo 64 emulators:

    - Emulation64 has released version 1.2a of their Corn INI file, with 25 playable games, including Superman.

    - The Company has released version 1.0B of their Corn INI file, with 4 fully playable games added.

    - EmuHQ posted what they state is an "update to the official Nemu64 INI," with games added/bugs fixed. I don't see a mention of this on the official Nemu site. However, I definitely believe EmuHQ, as they are an excellent and reputible site. ;)

    - Supertoto of Emulation Kingdom (French site) released version 1.2f of his Corn ini file, with a total of 29 games supported. - dutch

  • Barry Rodewald has released version 1.3.5 of his QPlayer. Vampire Saviour 2 sounds work correctly now. Also added is a configuration dialog, use of FIR filters, and the ability to play a sound code by pressing ENTER. For those who don't know, this will play sounds from the QSound ROMs from CPS2 titles. Since CPS2 emulation is very highly sought after but unlikely as long as the program ROMs are encrypted, this is the best we can get at the present time. - dutch

  • Myzar is back, his previous host doesn't like emu related content apparently. (Guess they don't like hits either.) :P Let him know if there's something you're trying to get from him and the link is broken. - dutch

UNBELIEVEABLE... I just watched Dennis Miller Live last night and he used the image in his "news" section... the AP better threaten HBO as well, otherwise I'd hit the AP back with discrimination. :P Thanks to CD-man for the news. - dutch

  • About that "System16 update project"... The VGN board poster who disclosed the project, mentioned that they were working with a ROM dumper, NOT Apollo69 but according to him, someone "close" to that. Well, it's NOT Naz - I asked him. Delete or rename your current CLRMame directory, and replace it with a new one with freshly extracted files. Delete the registry key HKEY_CURRENT_USER/Software/ClrMamePro. • Using Raine 0.28g? Here's a few things to keep in mind: If you're getting jerky scrolling and unsteady framerates try turning Triple Buffers OFF - that should fix it. And if you're experiencing any problems with Sidewinders, don't be surprised. Both issues are due to the use of the latest Allegro, which does not include Antiriad's special Allegro hacks for Triple Buffer and Sidewinder fixes. Some good news is that people with PCI cards have reported they're getting sound. :) Remember to use the last OFFICIAL build, Raine 0.28f, as an alternative. DO NOT BOTHER ANTIRIAD about 0.28g, it's NOT OFFICIAL! Feel free to post any concerns/questions on our message boards. Or email complaints to Reirom... ;) Heh, j/k. - prophet
